Stonehenge Sightseing Tour

Salisbury - Salisbury is probably the finest medieval Cathedral in Britain - with the tallest spire (123m/404ft), the best preserved Magna Carta (1215AD), a unique 13th century frieze of bible stories in the octagonal Chapter House, the largest Cloisters and Cathedral Close in Britain and Europe's oldest working clock (1386AD). Boy and Girl Choristers sing daily services, continuing a tradition of worship that goes back nearly 800 years. Open every day of the year.

Lunch in Salisbury – The 13th century Kings Arms Salisbury is situated opposite the St Ann's Gate entrance to Salisbury Cathedral. In the course of a lively history the inn has provided food and drink to many including King Charles I. Enjoy the best food, real ale or wine in Salisbury in surroundings that will complement a visit to the magnificent cathedral. (Tour price does not include lunch)

Bath - The spectacular city of Bath, with its honey-coloured Georgian terraces and elegant crescents, seemingly cascades down the steep slopes of the River Avon. It owes its history to the hot spring water that gave the city its name, from time immemorial rising from 3km underground and gushing forth at a constant temperature of 46c. This unique resource still flows through the ruins of the magnificent temple and bath-house built by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago. Bath was the first English city to be designated a World heritage site, and our panoramic drive around the town will demonstrate why, revealing a masterpiece of 18th century vision and city planning. There is time for you to explore Bath Abbey known as the "lantern of the West" and Pulteney Bridge.

Exclusive – Your tour includes a relaxing glass of warm spa water containing 43 minerals and has a rather unusual taste, served in the Pump Room, a beautiful salon virtually unchanged since it was officially opened in 1795. Chat to Martin, the official ‘Pumper’ dressed in period costume down to his silver-buckled shoes. Listen to the Pump Room Trio, the oldest classical ensemble in Europe. Examine the priceless grandfather clock, and original sedan chairs.

This tour finishes at approximately 7.00 pm in central London
